The controls are mounted on a home made (what else?) manifold out of galvanized 1/2" pipe & fittings. Each end of the manifold is terminated with a 18" pipe with a cap on the end so it can be punched into the ground. This gives the illusion the supply comes from the ground at first glance. Each of the control valves are mounted on the manifold with hose bib adaptors so hoses can be attached. The supply hose is also connected to a hose bib adaptor and runs back to a hose bib from the house.
The red hose is the supply hose that is a heavy duty hot water hose since it has to be on all the time and sit in the sun. The rest of the hoses go to sprinkler heads. |
