During the season this year, we had the pleasure of attending a Huskies softball game in Seattle as a group. It was a lot of fun and our girls got to see how the game is played by a more experienced group.
Here are some girls that know how to have fun and even show off a bit. During their warm up exercises, they performed quite a few tricks with the balls.
We got to watch a big squall up close. We got stuck in it while the team covered the field with a really big tarp (sorry no pictures).
The first three pictures are a couple of different girls performing a running slap which is really neat to watch.
The Huskies had one really quick catcher. The following two pictures are an attempt to show how fast she responded after a pitch was thrown while there was a runner on base.
The next two photos are of pitchers on both teams as they released the ball. You can actually see the ball in front of both pitchers. Look at how fast they appear to be moving (they were really moving fast!)
The game was really entertaining but for those who just couldn't get into the game, there was Harry, the team's mascot who provided the comic relief.
And finally, just in case you wanted to know what a 'real' photographer looked like... Not sure if this guy is an official Husky photographer or from a local newspaper but we caught him in the act anyway.
The Huskies may have a home page but I was unable to find it. If you know what it is, email it to me so I can add it here...
